Katie Gannon, Pharm.D. is currently a Critical Care Specialty Resident for the Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Pharmacy. She comes to us from The Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, CO where she worked in critical care pharmacy for the past year after completion of her PGY1 residency. She graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Dr. Gannon is appointed as an Assistant Clinical Instructor at TTUHSC School of Pharmacy and precepts pharmacy students in their 3rd and 4th professional year. Dr. Gannon is currently a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Her professional interests include critical care, emergency medicine, infectious disease and pulmonary disorders. Upon completion of the residency program she hopes to continue educating students while practicing as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the critical care setting. In her spare time, she enjoys running, skiing, cooking, traveling and trying new restaurants. |
