Kristen Hesch, PharmD, BCPS is an Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. She is a graduate of the University of Texas College of Pharmacy, and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Critical Care Specialty Pharmacy Practice Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She maintains an active practice in the Cardiac ICU at the North Texas VA Health Care System, where she serves as a mentor for students and pharmacy residents. Her areas of focus within the ICU are in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Post-Resuscitation Care, the provision and treatment of pain, agitation and delirium, and the therapy of acute decompensated heart failure. She is actively involved in numerous professional organizations including ASHP, ACCP, AACP, TSHP, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
