Biography

Dr. Stapleton graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy in 2008. She then completed her PGY1 Residency at the Asheville VA Medical Center and PGY2 Residency from University of Tennessee/St.Francis Medical Center. She has been an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Texas Tech School of Pharmacy since 2010. Dr. Stapleton practices at the North Texas Veterans Affairs Medical Center in a pharmacotherapy clinic under a collaborative practice agreement. In her clinic, they have focused attention to diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Besides precepting 3rd and 4th year pharmacy students in her pharmacotherapy clinic, Dr. Stapleton also teaches in the Ambulatory Care elective, team leader of Case Studies III, and mentor/grader for Grand Rounds. Dr. Stapleton is currently Chair of Student Affairs Committee for the 2013-2014 academic year.
