Dr. James is involved with laboratory teaching and precepting students. Dr. James teaches in Pharmaceutical Care Lab, Patient Assessment Lab, Introductory to Pharmacy Practice, and Community Pharmacy Operations in addition to precepting Ambulatory Clinical Skills rotations. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in 2011 and Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Texas A&M University. Dr. James also completed a one year community specialty (PGY1) residency at TTUHSC SOP. Dr. James practices under a collaborative agreement at the Texas Tech Internal Medicine clinic. Her practice interests include ambulatory/primary care, preventative care, tobacco cessation, pulmonary and medical missions.
Dr. James’ research interests include disease state prevention and management, pharmacy education including simulation and laboratory teaching, and Pulmonary/tobacco cessation.
