Bio Professor Strong is currently Associate Professor and Regional Dean for Abilene Programs. She earned her BS in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, her Masters in General Administration from Central Michigan University and Masters’ degrees in Pharmacy Administration and Health Policy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Originally from Ashland, Massachusetts, Professor Strong recently retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service. Prior to retirement, she served as the Commander, 7th Medical Support Squadron and Deputy Commander, 7th Medical Group, Dyess AFB, Texas. Her military career included an appointment to Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX where she directed the only bone marrow transplant pharmacy in the Department of Defense. She later served as Director, Pharmacy Operations and was responsible for the USAF Medical Systems largest and most complex pharmacy operation. During her career she also served at Westover AFB, Chicopee, MA; Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV; Defense Personnel Support Center – Philadelphia, PA; and MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL.

Professor Strong has been married to her husband, Jay for 8 years. They have two children, Matthew, 26, and Alexandra, 18. She enjoys Christian music, internet shopping, NCAA and NFL Football. She also loves to cook!
