Grading

Courses are graded on a numerical scale with a grade of 75 considered as a satisfactory score and 70 as minimal acceptable score for a single course.

Progression

Each year every student will be evaluated for continued enrollment in the professional program by the Subcommittee on Student Credentialing of the Student Affairs Committee. The student's academic performance, as measured by grades in courses attempted and achievement on an annual assessment of progress in mastering of defined curricular outcomes, will serve as the basis for evaluation. The Student Credentialing Subcommittee may recommend to the Dean full progression, remediation activities in areas where the student has documented deficiencies, or academic probation. Upon the second probation, the Dean will suspend the student for one calendar year. A third academic probation will result in permanent suspension from the School.
