Announcements - Roland Patry
- Received draft of SACS Report.
- Faculty to send response to Dean regarding the one time faculty initiative fund established by President Wilson. Response due to Dean Nelson by January 30.
- All information for the SOP annual report due to Mark Hendricks in News and Publications by February 6.
- January 28 Dean Nelson will be meeting with Neal Adams, THECB member.
- January 29 Dean Nelson will be attending the THECB Meeting in Austin.

- Getting ready for THECB Meeting next week.

- President Wilson raising bar and standards for tenure and promotion.
- Summer Balcer
- Sending first schedule for fall to chairs. Quentin Smith asked that changes be highlighted.
- 837 applications, this is up 42% from last year.
- Beginning student interviews this next week, February 2.
- Failures: 15 first time failed (this included 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students) after 2nd chance, 4 on second academic probation and 3 excused from school because of 3rd failure.
- Starting intrusive advising with students to set goals on working out of failures.

- TTUHSC Centers draft from Dean Nelson to modify operating policies and procedures.
- Recommendations needed for Centers' future goals to continue or dissolve Centers.

Naplex Pass Rates and Performance Indicators - Summer Balcer
- Naplex Pass Rates:
- Summer Balcer covered Naplex Pass Rates and Performance Indicators with Executive Committee Members. Suggestions for improvement of pass rates:
- Technology issues need to be addressed.
- Board review with students.
- Student class attendance very important.
- Document will be forwarded to Curricular Affairs Committee.
- Naplex Pass Rates would be good retreat topic.
- Summer Balcer covered Naplex Pass Rates and Performance Indicators with Executive Committee Members. Suggestions for improvement of pass rates:
- Performance Indicators:
- Discussion of Performance Indicators document with Executive Committee members indicated that possibly this document needs revision. Recommendations will be sent to Dean for revision. Student Services will be adjusting their performance indicators.
- Naplex Pass Rates:

TTUHSC Vital Signs - Roland Patry
- Vital Signs document separated into two groups: Informational Indicators and Actionable Indicators. Executive Committee members identified important indicators for Pharmacy and who is responsible for each indicator. Document completed for Dr. Patry to present at the President's Executive Council Meeting on January 21, 2004.
