Announcements - Dean Nelson
- Gary Collins resigning his position with SOP effective June 7, 2004.
- Brief overview of the Environmental Scanning Committee Meeting analysis report. Report will be forwarded to the SOP faculty.
- University of Florida will be offering a Pharm.D. degree within the State of Texas through internet instruction.
- Texas A&M Kingsville SOP moving forward with petition to the THECB.
- Reorganization plan for the SOP will maintain two departments. Dean Nelson will be scheduling informal faculty meetings in June to discuss the structure with the SOP faculty.
- Staff Member of Year Nominee Certificates given to Lynn Finkenbinder, Cynthia Parker and Sue Ussery at the Executive Committee Meeting.
- Lipman Hearne, marketing consulting firm, will be developing a strategy for a marketing plan for TTU and TTUHSC. Members of the firm will be in Amarillo on June 21, 2004 to meet with Deans and Associate Deans and also a separate meeting with Department Chairs of the SOM, SOA and SOP.

- Moving forward on confocal microscope installation. Microscope will be temporarily located in common equipment room in basement of SOP.
- Update on SOP contracts.
- June 4, 2004 at 6:00 pm the electrical power will be shut down on the Amarillo SOP campus. All lab and office computers are to be shut down at 5:00 pm.

- Meeting on June 11, 2004 on progressions.
- Feedback from Executive Committee members regarding the hooding ceremony and graduation in Lubbock for 2004.

- Research Days are scheduled for July 29-30, 2004.
- Research Strategy Planning Meeting scheduled for June 4, 2004.
- Deadline for research abstracts is July 5, 2004.
- Cynthia Raehl
- IHA Director of Research candidate, Dr. Paula Grammas will be in Amarillo on June 9.
- Roland Patry
- Expanding patient care services platforms in Lubbock.
- Chuck Seifert
- Pharmacy operations moving to main TTUHSC campus in Lubbock.
- Telepharmacy possibly expanding to Morton and Earth, Texas.
- Neels Van der Schyf
