Prerequisite Courses

Exempt from English and Humanities/Social Sciences if earned bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university prior to enrolling in the School of Pharmacy, *Used in the pre-pharmacy GPA calculation.

 **Humanities/Social Sciences include: Anthropology, Communications (excluding Public Speaking prerequisite), Economics (excluding Economics prerequisite), Ethnic Studies, Family Living/Human Development, Geography, History, Journalism, Philosophy, Political Science (Government), Psychology, and Sociology.

Note: Performing and Fine Arts (including Music), Physical Education, Foreign Languages, Religion, Computer Science or similar courses will not meet Humanities/Social Sciences Requirement

Prerequisite groupings for Humanities/Social Sciences, e.g., 6 hours of history and 6 hours of government, are not required.

Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), CLEP, and Dual Credit courses accepted if listed on accredited U.S. college or university.

Courses accepted from any regionally accredited U.S. College or University

Courses completed prior to seven years previous to admission date must be approved.   Send your approval request in email format (click here). Include the course name, course number, year and semester completed, school at course completed, work experience since completing the course.
