School of Pharmacy and Research at Amarillo

Since it opened in Amarillo in 1993, the TTUHSC School of Pharmacy has expanded its innovative professional pharmacy program and research capabilities to multiple campuses. In the process, the school has cultivated a national reputation for its active involvement as a health care provider. The main School of Pharmacy building in Amarillo houses large study areas, a pharmacy practice laboratory and modern research laboratories. Amarillo is also home to the School of Pharmacy's Cancer Biology Research Center and Center for Blood-Brain Barrier Research.

Amarillo Research Building

In April 2009, TTUHSC cut the ribbon on its 48,000-square-foot Amarillo Research Building. The state-of-the-art facility provides the School of Pharmacy with additional space for 13-15 laboratories and offices for researchers and support personnel. The building also houses several important pieces of research equipment, including the Nikon Multiphoton/Confocal Microscope.

School of Pharmacy Research at Abilene

Like the main SOP campus in Amarillo, Abilene offers all four years of TTUHSC's Doctor of Pharmacy program. Students attending Abilene's state-of-the-art campus enjoy multimedia classrooms, a drug information center, a pharmacy practice laboratory, a patient counseling training center and physical assessment room, modern research laboratories and much more. Abilene is also home to the School of Pharmacy's Center for Immunotherapeutic Research.

School of Pharmacy Research at Dallas

School of Pharmacy Research at Dallas

In 2008, the TTUHSC School of Pharmacy expanded its Dallas/Fort Worth campus to second location inside the Southwest Professional Building. With more than 13,000 square feet, students benefit from state-of-the-art classrooms, case study meeting rooms, modern laboratory facilities and access to several of the school's important Dallas Medical Center partners, including Children's Medical Center, Parkland Hospital and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dallas is also home to the School of Pharmacy's Clinical Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics Center.
