About Evalina

Hello my name is Evalina Jacobo. I was born and raised in Odessa, mother and grandmother of four. I'm blessed to have my Parents and sisters. My love and passion is my family, especially my grandchildren. I love to work in my yard, though my allergies keep me from enjoying the outdoors. I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and traveling.

I started working for TTUHSC in 2006. I worked in the GME/CME office for five years and had the opportunity to maintain the department solo for a few months. I coordinated a few campus wide ceremonies for the graduates completing their residency programs. I arranged a few orientations for the incoming residents. I truly enjoyed meeting all the new residents and hearing about their home countries. I organized a few Resident Research Day events with Dr Baldwin. Currently I work for the department of Internal Medicine as the Purchasing Coordinator. I'm also on the QSA committee.

I am willing to make TTUHSC a desirable place to work; to support the spirit of unity and communication that our campus desperately needs. I'm looking forward to hearing all issues and recommendations that affect our campus and our mission of providing quality patient care.
