My name is Michelle Verduzco and I began my journey 10 years ago as student assistant in the department of MPIP and now I am currently a Unit Coordinator in the Department of Medical Education. I have gained and learned many valuable lessons in my time here at Texas Tech. I am a native of El Paso and a graduate of Bel Air High School. The people of Texas Tech is what make this a great place to work. My experience and knowledge of staff as well as my involvement with faculty and students is what will help me be a voice on campus. I will strive to listen to your ideas/suggestions and address any concerns you may have in order to make Texas Tech a more pleasant and dynamic environment. I will dedicate myself to meeting goals and tasks for the purpose of making Texas Tech a more enjoyable environment.

Having a sincere interest in and highest regard for the goals, purposes and functions of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the mission of the Staff Senate to seek the active representation and involvement of staff in the affairs of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, at all times striving to contribute to the overall success of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
The Staff Senate will be a visible and vital organization, recognized as the voice of the HSC staff. It will foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among staff and promote the current and future needs of the entire HSC community.
