Admission to a Masters or Doctoral Program
Admission to any graduate degree program is granted by the Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences upon the recommendation of the department of proposed study. Only students who have a complete on-line application will be considered for admission.

Apply at least three months prior to the date of intended enrollment
- Official Test Scores
GRE: General Test of the Graduate Record Examination is required for all applicants.
TOEFL: Test of English as a Foreign Language is required for international applicants.
Official transcripts showing the awarding of a bachelor’s degree from a US college or university.
Do not send international transcripts to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. *
Transcript evaluations must be a course-by-course evaluation. NO OTHER TYPE OF EVALUATION IS ACCEPTED.
- Application Fee - one time nonrefundable fee.
- Two recommendation letters.
If an applicant is accepted for admission, the TTUHSC Office of the Registrar will determine if there is sufficient financial information to issue an I-20. Financial information in the form of a bank statement converted to U.S. currency along with a statement of support from the sponsor should be sent to the TTUHSC Office of the Registrar.
* Transcripts from schools outside the United States must be evaluated by a Foreign Credential Service. The on-line application provides a selection of transcript evaluation services to convert educational credentials from any country in the world into US equivalents.
