Student Ambassadors for Diversity and Inclusion Application

2022-2023 Application Information

The Student Ambassadors for Diversity & Inclusion (SADI) serve as leaders for the student body of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in matters related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ambassadors will support the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) in providing opportunities for learning and engagement and in efforts of supporting underrepresented groups while upholding the values of the TTUHSC enterprise.

Requirements for Membership

  • Be willing and able to serve and represent TTUHSC and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for one full year.
  • Be enrolled for the entire school year and able to represent TTUHSC in a credible and professional manner.
  • Exhibit academic excellence, strong communication skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to attend scheduled mandatory training and agree to the time commitment to fulfill all duties.

Application Process

  1. Complete the 2022-2023 Student Ambassadors for Diversity and Inclusion Application by July 31, 2022.
  2. Applicants will be notified via email of their acceptance by August 22, 2022.
  3. Term is September 1, 2022 - August 31, 2023.
