Dr. Randall serves as the inaugural Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer. She
comes from Texas Tech where she was founding director for the Office of LGBTQIA Education
& Engagement and an adjunct lecturer for Women’s & Gender Studies.
As Vice President, Dr. Randall is responsible for oversight and strategic management of TTUHSC’s efforts to strengthen our diverse and inclusive university community where all faculty, staff, and students are treated respectfully and provided equal access to opportunities. She also will collaborate with the TTUHSC community to develop university-wide DEI action plans while also serving as a member of the President's Cabinet and as chairperson of the university's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Matt Hernandez (he/him) serves as the inaugural Director of Institutional Diversity
in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He previously led efforts centered on educational programming in the Office of LGBTQIA Education & Engagement at Texas Tech University, where he
received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Higher
Education Administration. Matt is currently a graduate student at the University of
Michigan in the School of Public Health.
At Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Matt works to ensure the strategic implementation of DEI programs and services across the TTUHSC enterprise, including the Helix Diversity Series. Matt also serves on the Coordinating Team for the Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Committee.

Doris Hereford has been employed at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center since 2017 and serves as the Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion, and as the Assistant Director of Student Life. Doris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kaplan University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University.
Doris loves collaborating with the students, advocating for them and supporting their education and wellbeing. She believes everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves and be heard. Doris also serves as the co-advisor for the Student Ambassadors for Diversity and Inclusion and as the vice-president of the Black Faculty and Staff Association at TTUHSC.
