2021 -2022 Voting Members

The DEI Committee consists of 19 voting members with the following roles and membership structure: 

Director Student Diversity and Inclusion – Doris Hereford
Director of Global Health or their designee – Michelle Ensminger
Human Resources Representative – Deshun Avery
Managed Care Representative – Rebecca Ramirez

Five (5) members representing each of the five Schools of the institution:

• Celine Zhong, SOP faculty (Abilene)
• Theresa Byrd, GSBS faculty

Three (3) representatives from TTUHSC’s legislative bodies:

• Lena Hooker, Financial Aid staff, Staff Senate
• Josh Willms, GSBS Student, Student Government Association 

Seven (7) at large positions made up of faculty, staff, and students selected through an application process. Members will serve two year terms, which may be renewed:
