The Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) is a two year program structured around a core curriculum in biomedical sciences with opportunities for elective courses and research experiences in a broad range of laboratories.
Our scientists are energetically exploring the dynamics of cancer cell biology, HIV, West Nile Virus, influenza, nanomedicine, movement disorders, population genetics of psychiatric disorders, degenerative neurological diseases, and genetics of the special senses.
The work of a biomedical scientist is known to include a variety of research, from finding cures for cancer or HIV to discovering new uses for drugs. Additionally, the growing, wide-ranging field of biomedical science encourages ever-changing career opportunities for a MBS graduate.
