International Health Elective

Updated: 6/17/2016

International Health Electives: The Office of Curriculum coordinates International Health programs with the Office of Global Health.  Any TTUHSC School of Medicine student (MS1 through MS4) in good academic standing may participate in an International Health Elective. These electives should foster the development of humanism and life-long commitment to service while recognizing the responsibility of physicians to address global health disparities. Students can receive transcript notation of an International Health Elective at two different times during their medical school career, either in the summer between the MS1 and MS2 Years or as a Year 4 Elective.
