RN to BSN Undergraduate Program
All applicants will be reviewed in an individual and holistic manner. No single factor will determine a student's admission.
Although academic criteria (cumulative GPA, grades earned in science courses, and failed/repeated courses) are important factors in admission consideration, additional non-academic information is also important.
An unofficial transcript evaluation is highly recommended, though not required, prior to submitting your application. You may email or fax unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended to one of the RN BSN Contacts. Include your name, contact phone number and email address on all correspondence.
Note: International students with F1 and F2 status are not eligible to apply to an online program.

All applicants who receive offers of admission will be required to consent to a criminal background check. A history of criminal conduct or convictions may result in withdrawal of the admission offer. See "Criminal Background Checks" section of the School of Nursing Student Handbook for the School policy. No student will be allowed to matriculate without a cleared criminal background check.
An unofficial transcript evaluation is highly recommended prior to submitting your application. All transcripts must be received by the Evaluator prior to review. Any that do not comply with the noted instructions will not be reviewed. This includes transcripts which have been cut and pasted into an email.
To receive an evaluation, potential students must submit the following items:
- Transcripts from ALL United States Colleges and Universities you have attended in your lifetime.
- Email address & contact phone number
Official transcripts received by the Evaluator will be copied, reviewed and submitted to the Office of the Registrar. Transcripts will NOT be accepted with a print date over one year old.
Transcripts from schools outside the U.S. must be evaluated by a Foreign Credential Service. The School of Nursing requires course-by-course evaluation using U.S. letter grades and credit hours. A list of service providers may be found on our website under International Applicants.
