Nursing Mother Rooms   baby feet

TTUHSC acknowledges that a women's choice to breastfeed benefits the family, the employer and society.  Nursing mother rooms are available on several TTUHSC campuses for students, faculty and staff to utilize as needed.  These rooms provide a safe, quiet and private space to express milk at the workplace by using hospital grade pumps permanently located in each room.  Rooms can be found in the following locations:

Abilene Campus:  ABSON 2701

Amarillo Campus: SOM/SHP 4705 (Contact or for a key.)

Lubbock Campus: 3A167

Permian Basin: 1232 (GME Suite 1229)

I was so happy and relieved to see there was a refrigerator in the room, not to mention several different pumps. Knowing I could keep my milk stored safely and making sure I had all the equipment was a huge relief. – Amy P. APRN Student (LBK)
