Provide opportunities to develop comprehensive clinical and procedural skills.

Emphasize quality, comprehensive, compassionate patient care throughout the lifecycle of the patient.
Support and teach strong, practical, effective skills in staff interaction and management of staff including allied heal personnel, physician assistants and advanced practitioners.
Offer opportunities to pursue special interests in areas related to Family Medicine.
Provide opportunities for the resident to prepare for rural or small community Family Medicine.
Offer opportunities to learn effective skills in office management, administrative medicine, business management, and establish the basic concepts needed to start and maintain a productive, financially strong Medicine.
Support and teach a strong, practical, effective work ethic.
Support and teach a philosophy of self-care that allows and encourages the resident to successfully balance family and profession, and facilitates appropriate, successful integration of business and Medicine.
