Who are we?
The Aging Interest Research Group is comprised of more than 50 researchers from TTU and TTUHSC campuses spanning many diverse backgrounds. Common ground is found in the desire to increase research capacity in the important and growing study of the aging process. Members come from fields such as cell biology, design theory, neuropsychiatry and computer science, to name a few. The ability to combine the expertise found in diverse fields of study will ensure the creation of creative solutions to broad, complex issues.
What do we do?
Members of the Aging Interest Research Group and those interested in our aging discovery mission attend monthly meetings in which collaborative research is discussed. Presentations of current research in departments spanning both campuses provide a springboard for collaboration. Members also have access to online collaborative communication.
