 rocio Name: Rocio Carrasco
Title: Project FRONTIER Coordinator
Phone: 806-729-7352
Area of Work: Parmer County
About: I am a graduate from Law School in Mexico with a Juris Doctor Degree. Currently, I live in Friona with my family and working as a Community Coordinator at the Garrison Institute on Aging.  I became the Parmer County Coordinator in 2011 working with the Project FRONTIER Research Study.  I coordinate the program's research participants in Parmer County and I love working in community outreach.  While working with Project FRONTIER, I became a Certified Community Health Worker.  I am also involved in my community by taking part in the organizations of community events and health fairs.  I am also an instructor for adult education (GED in Spanish).  I have recently became a coordinator for the Texas Youth Association (TYA).  Because of my job, I have been able to help and serve my community in Parmer County.

Life would not be as satisfying if I could not help or serve others.  The best part of my job is that it gives me the opportunity to inspire and make a difference in people's lives.
