F. Marie Hall Establishes Two Endowed Chairs in Affiliation with the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health

The Granville T. Hall, M.D., Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology honors Ms. Hall’s father for his lifetime commitment to healing and his passion for his profession. The chair will be housed in the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health at the Jenna Welch Center in Midland.

Ms. Hall also has established the Florence Thelma Hall Chair for Nursing Excellence in Women’s Health to honor her mother, who had a lifetime dream of becoming a nurse. This chair is to be a catalyst for the development of women’s health programs in the School of Nursing and the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health in Lubbock.

A nationally recognized integration of research and educational outreach programs across the Abilene, Amarillo, Lubbock, Permian Basin and El Paso campuses.

The educational outreach programs will benefit women and their families in host communities by providing knowledge, the most powerful tool in the fight against disease.

Cutting Edge Research:

Our host communities, as well as the nation at large, will further benefit from support of cutting-edge research in women's health, and gender differences in disease.

This expansion will have an enduring IMPACT on our host communities and the nation at large.
