Biography

I was born in the village of Bayanpur, Sonepat, Haryana in India. I have been married since June 30, 1986.

Research Interests

1) Chromosome Polymorphism and Heteromorphism.
2) Cancer Cytogenetics and Molecular Cytogenetics with Prognostic Correlations in Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Solid Tumors Using Molecular Techniques:
- Florescent in situ Hybridization (FISH)
- Comparative Genomic Hybridization (CGH)
- Spectra Karyotyping (SKY)
- Oligomicroarray
- CGH Microarray
3) Clinicacl Cytogenetics and Molecular Cytogenetics in Prenatal and Postnatal Chromosome Abnormalities.
- Characterization of different chromosome abnormalities with prognostic correlations (including interstitial deletion of 4q, duplication of 1p,2p, 5p, 7p, 8p, 9p, 10q proximal deletion of 15q, iso 15q,1p duplication, 2q rearrangement and centromere studies in Robert's Syndrome).
