Medical students often complete their training with an enormous debt; James Keeton would be no exception if it were not for your generosity.

Scholarship support not only helped alleviate the financial strain for Keeton, it also afforded him experiential opportunities that he says will greatly contribute to his career in medicine.

Keeton has served as president of the Internal Medicine Club as well as a Dean’s Ambassador. For the past two years, he also has been a member of the School of Medicine admissions interview committee. "I have learned much from these experiences and take pride in helping interview potential students to add to this institution’s already great reputation," Keeton said.

Additionally, he was accepted into two prestigious organizations, Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honors Society. "The missions of these honor societies reflect my passion and commitment to the continual pursuit of knowledge and humanistic patient care."

"My family and I feel beyond blessed for the help you have given us, and I hope to pay this blessing forward to other Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center students in the future," she said.
