Wendy Kissko chose Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center because of the faculty within the Speech Pathology program

"I knew I would receive a personal education that fostered meaningful relationships with my professors while receiving the best clinical experiences possible."

Throughout her college career, Kissko has worked multiple jobs to support herself, which in turn has helped her family as she has a younger sister also in college. Being a recipient of two scholarships, she said, has helped pay for tuition, books and the many extra costs that come with graduate school.

Additionally, your generosity has allowed Kissko to work fewer hours, which in turn gave her more time to focus on her studies and become more involved within her school and TTUHSC.

"My family and I feel beyond blessed for the help you have given us, and I hope to pay this blessing forward to other Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center students in the future," she said.
