The Reason I Jump is a 12 episode, knowledge-based, video series developed to educate both preceptors and students regarding their participation in experiential rotations in an interprofessional setting.

The series follows multiple health professionals including pharmacists, physicians, paramedics, athletic trainers, speech-language-pathologists, and occupational therapists as they precept their students in real-world clinical environments.  This mini-series features multiple professions, highlights sex and gender specific health issues, and provides expert advice for preceptors and students.  Through a combination of inappropriate and quality interprofessional interactions, attendees will learn key principles regarding professionalism, feedback, values/ethics, teamwork, and coaching during clinical rotations.  At moments throughout each episode, two preceptor and two student experts provide humorous interactions and share insight on how they would deal with each learning situation.  Each individual episode ends with two important preceptor and student pearls.

Change of Heart: An Interprofessional Preceptor Mini-Series is a 12 episode, knowledge-based, video series developed to educate both preceptors and students regarding their participation in experiential rotations in an interprofessional setting.  Each individual video episode is 5-8 minutes in length and builds upon the next.  For the premier, all episodes will be shown together as a full feature film lasting approximately 105 minutes.  The series follows multiple health professional preceptors including nurses, pharmacists, physicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists as they precept their students in both a hospital and extended care setting.  Through a combination of inappropriate and quality interprofessional interactions, attendees will learn key principles regarding orientation, feedback, teamwork, and dealing with difficult preceptors or students.  At moments throughout each episode, two preceptor and two student experts provide humorous interactions and share insight on how they would deal with each learning situation.  Each individual episode ends with two important preceptor and two student pearls.

Adventures in Interprofessional Precepting
                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
Adventures in Interprofessional Precepting (Online)

 In partnership with the School of Pharmacy Experiential Programs, a preceptor training mini-series has been developed to provide  interprofessional online training for students and preceptors. 
 
In the second installment of the Preceptor Mini-Series, three health professional preceptors are followed to include a nurse,pharmacist, and physician as they precept their students in an ambulatory care setting.  Through a combination of inappropriate and quality interprofessional interactions, the interprofessional competencies of values and ethics, roles and responsibilities, communication, and teamwork  are discussed.  At moments throughout each episode, two preceptor experts share insight on how they would deal with each learning situation.
