HVAC Run-Time Requests
The Facilities, Operations and Maintenance department (FOM) is very instrumental in reducing energy consumption by minimizing equipment run times.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) - related utility consumption- is one of the most significant energy expenditures. HVAC equipment run-times are scheduled to meet departmental needs according to institutional funding for the TTUHSC at the Permian Basin.
Therefore if facility occupants require extended run-times in order to accommodate special events they should provide requests 36 hours in advance:
