Leonidas Miranda M.D.
Dr. Leonidas Miranda, M.D. specializes in general surgery, surgical endoscopy, advanced laparoscopic surgery, diseases of the breast, surgical oncology, wound care, and trauma surgery. He has made great efforts to educate his patients on the importance of breast care. By taking precautions early , for example having routine clinical breast exams, mammograms, and self breast exams, a patient can identify any abnormalities that can lead to breast cancer.
Education: Dr. Miranda graduated from the University if Guayaquil, School of Medicine in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1990. He completed his residency in Cleveland, Oh. Along with his medical degree, Dr. Miranda also holds a degree in Business Administration. Currently Dr. Miranda is an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech Physicians of the Permian Basin.
