Engineering Services


Our mission is to provide technical and managerial expertise in support of the TTUHSC goal to operate as an efficient and effective institution. The three core functions of the department include project management, facilities information, and utilities management.

Core Functions

Project Management

Provide technical and managerial expertise for assigned TTUHSC facility projects. Services include engineering design, contract negotiations, resource management, code review, and project accounting. Additionally, departmental personnel review all new construction plans to ensure they meet or exceed strict new energy conservation codes.

Facilities Information

Maintain a centralized facility information archive for TTUHSC owned and leased properties. All construction drawings, floor plans, and facility related information is maintained in a recently remodeled area for quick and efficient access. Additionally, electronic archives are being developed and expanded to speed access to this critical information.

Utilities Management

Analyze and report utility financial and consumption information for TTUHSC. Prepare and distribute periodic reports and benchmarks related to energy and utility consumption. Conduct energy audits and identify potential energy conservation projects.
