Lubbock City Lights
Lubbock City Lights is a charitable event organized by the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
School of Medicine's first year class. Every year, philanthropic events are held to
directly benefit local charities. By giving back to the community in which we are
being trained as physicians, the first year class of the School of Medicine hopes
to share in the spirit of selfless service and charity that defines the medical profession.
This year, the Class of 2019 is pleased to announce the 19th Annual City Lights Charity Gala & Casino Night held on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016, at the Lubbock Civic Center. The Charity Gala will include a silent auction, live auction and entertainment,
accompanied with cocktail hour and dinner. Afterwards, a casino night will open up
with a lively night of dancing and games.
All proceeds from both events will benefit the following charities: Lubbock Impact Free Clinic, Lubbock's Boys and Girls Club, High Point Village, and Children's Advocacy Center of the South Plains.
We need as much help as possible to make this year's event a success; you can get
- By attending the event! Tickets are available now.
- As a business or individual sponsor through tax-deductible, charitable donations.
- By volunteering with our planning committee.
