Our program provides students with the chance to study science alongside first-year medical students and serve as teaching assistants, advancing healthcare in West Texas and beyond.
Students work with faculty mentors to create and present medical education projects aligned with the School of Medicine curriculum and their own interests. These projects are showcased during Student Research Week and at the program's conclusion.
This two-year program blends foundational learning with faculty-guided student projects, preparing students for successful careers in medical education.
