2019 Student Research Week

The Department of Immunology and Molecular Microbiology hosted Student Research Week this year. The theme: “Animalcules Detected: Immune Response Activated.” Here’s the facts:

261 poster presentations

187 people attended the banquet

7 of the 104 students who applied were selected as speakers

64 students opted in for additional judgment of their entry by a Lubbock Economic Development Alliance representative

34 silent auction items and raised $1,620 for scholarships

$3,500 donated for scholarships 

90 volunteers
