Account lockouts are commonly caused by an old password saved on a device, phone, tablet, or application. This saved password automatically attempts to sign in and causes our system to detect bad password attempts. After 10 bad password attempts, eRaider accounts are locked out for 15 minutes.  

What to Do 

• Wait for the automatic unlock process to complete (15 min after the lockout starts). 
• While waiting, remove the old, saved password on any devices, websites, or applications that may have your old password saved. 
• On an institutional device, restart the computer and sign in with the new password.
