Theresa Byrd, DrPH, MPH, R.N., and Julie St. John, Ph.D., will help us understand public
health and how the public health team is engaged in the COVID-19 outbreak.
Theresa Byrd, DrPH, MPH, R.N.
Theresa Byrd, DrPH, MPH, R.N., is chair of the Julia Jones Matthews Department of Public Health and an associate dean in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She has an extensive background in public health administration and was instrumental in establishing TTUHSC's public health department and degree program.
Julie St. John, Ph.D.
Julie St. John, Ph.D., is the associate chair of the Julia Jones Matthews Department of Public Health and an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She manages TTUHSC's public health degree program in Abilene.
