Welcome

Chronic pelvic pain is defined as any pain in the pelvic area that lasts for more than six months. Nearly 1 in 7 women 18-50 years of age suffer from chronic pelvic pain.

Furthermore, 61 percent of these women do not have a diagnosis for their symptoms.

Chronic pelvic pain can be constant or recurring and occur at any time including during menstruation, before and after eating, while urinating, or during intercourse. It is debilitating on a woman's daily life as well as on her physical, mental, and emotional well-being. There are many possible conditions that can cause chronic pelvic pain, however, it is not always possible to pinpoint a specific cause. Not finding a cause does not mean the pain is not real.

We understand the painful conditions our patients experience from chronic pelvic pain and are dedicated to providing answers and effective treatment. Dr. Leslie Chupp is taking appointments in the Chronic Pelvic Clinic on Tuesday afternoons. If you are a patient or have a referral, please contact us at 432.620.5800.

We look forward to visiting with you.
