Research Interests

Facile with EMR including CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) and WEBCIS/WEBCAIS (Web based Clinical Information Systems
PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)

See 5-15 cleft and craniofacial kids a week- Participate in interdisciplinary cleft palate team acting as surgical director- working alongside audiologists, speech pathologists, dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, early childhood interventionalist, pediatricians, counselors and psychologists on delivering quality care. Operate on 2-5 cleft children/week whether it is fixing cleft lip, cleft palate, fixing palatal fistulae, revising lips, alveolar bone grafting, orthognathic surgery or mandibular distraction. I helped found and direct the regions first and only craniofacial team with pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric ophthalmology, and pediatricians establishing a center of excellence capable of helping babies and children with craniosynostosis and other craniofacial anomalies.
