OurHSC Fund - How Employee Giving Comes to Life
The OurHSC campus fund is an opportunity for team members like you to make a difference on your Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center campus. This program is 100% funded and administered by you and your HSC family, providing for needs not covered by other sources of funding. Funds can go towards enhancing HSC facilities, patient care, employee development programs, and research needs. Name anything – you can make a difference!
Every dollar donated to the OurHSC Campus Fund is invested in projects that improve our campuses and support the TTUHSC community.
Examples of Past Projects
Odessa Campus Community Garden
The OurHSC Fund supports the Odessa Campus Community Garden by supplying garden maintenance tools such as hoses and repair equipment. Also, funded are the planters, bagged garden soil, fertilizer, pest control, and shade cloth for beds.
Helping Hands Food Pantry
The TTUHSC Helping Hands Food Pantry is for members of the TTUHSC family from staff and faculty to students. Utilizing the OurHSC Fund, nonperishable goods are bought for the pantry as well as marketing materials to create awareness.
Turn Your Idea Into Impact
The OurHSC Campus Fund turns employee generosity into meaningful improvements across TTUHSC. If you have an idea that could enhance your campus, support students, improve patient care, or strengthen our community, your project could be next.
Every project begins with someone who sees an opportunity to make a difference. We encourage you to share your ideas and help shape the future of TTUHSC through employee giving and grant applications.
Do you have a great idea to improve some aspect of TTUHSC and make a great place to work even better? Complete a grant application and submit it for consideration.
How to get started
Once all applications are submitted, designated campus employee committees will review, and rank requests based on funding descriptions outlined in the Employee Grant Proposal. Grants will be awarded based on the funds received at each campus. A response will be given within one week.
Our HSC Grants
Submit a request via an application that will be forwarded to your designated campus committee. Incomplete applications will prompt additional information. Applications are available year-round.

"Honestly, I feel like participating in this program gives me the opportunity to show appreciation for my campus. Even though my contribution is small I feel included in the big picture of our purpose."
