Operating Policy and Procedure
HSC OP: 77.04, Student Fees
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Health Sciences Center Operating Policy and Procedure (HSC OP) is to set forth the approval process for student fees for TTUHSC. This HSC OP applies to all TTUHSC campus locations.
REVIEW: This HSC OP will be reviewed on May 1 every odd-numbered year (ONY) by the Managing Director of Student Business Services and the Associate Vice President for Business Affairs, with recommendations for revisions forwarded to the Executive Vice President for Finance and Operations.
POLICY/PROCEDURE:
1. General Policy. The Board of Regents shall approve the assessment and collection of Tuition and Mandatory fees from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) students. The recommended revisions to tuition and mandatory fees shall be presented to the Board by the Finance and Investments Committee for approval.
2. The authority of the Board to set rates for board authorized tuition, insurance fees, and all discretionary incidental fees is delegated to the President.
