On-Time Graduation Rates
To calculate on-time graduation rates, TTUHSC students are assigned to expected graduation cohorts based on the first academic period for which a student enrolls in credit hours toward a degree program. For purposes of comparison at an institutional level, students are expected to graduate within a specified number of years based on the level of degree sought.
- Students seeking undergraduate degrees are expected to graduate within 8 years of matriculation at TTUHSC following the IPEDS Outcomes Measures Survey metric. This undergraduate metric follows SACSCOC accreditation requirements established in 2018. (From the 2016 IPEDs data submission, the baseline for this metric is 88%.)
- Students seeking master’s degrees are expected to graduate within 5 years of matriculation at TTUHSC. (The 2018 baseline for this metric is 81%.)
- Students seeking doctoral and/or professional degrees are expected to graduate within 10 years of matriculation at TTUHSC. (The 2018 baseline for this metric is 91%.)
The overall TTUHSC on-time graduation rate for the 2025 Expected Graduated Cohort (EGC) was 90.3%. This is a 1.5 point increase from 88.8% in 2024.

aBeginning in 2023 for bachelor’s programs and 2025 for master’s and doctoral programs, the calculation methodology for on-time completion changed to align with the IPEDs methodology. The first year in a program is now counted as Year 1 compared to Year 0.

| Multiple Campusesa | 97% | 97% | 97% | 95% | 90% |
aDue to the nature of some TTUHSC programs, some students begin and end a degree program at the same campus/site. Others begin a degree program at one campus/site and complete the degree at another campus/site. No students began a program at the Covenant Site or Dallas Campus for the included cohorts; thus, they are included in the multiple locations percentage only.
bSite was established in 2021 and only offers an undergraduate degree. Thus, graduation rate percentages are not yet available based on the 8-year on-time graduation metric.
