The Office of Global Health (OGH) serves as a resource to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) community for global health education both on our campuses and abroad.
The Office of Global Health supports the institutional mission and goals of TTUHSC by engaging in activities that enhance the education of its students, faculty, and staff through exposure to international health experiences.

The COVID 19 pandemic is an opportunity to build forward better. To address both old and new challenges in our rapidly changing world. Academia has an opportunity to play an ever more important role in addressing the threats before us and the ever-widening disparities in social and economic outcomes were seeing in the United States and around the world. How can we do this? What are some of the academic reforms needed to modernize academia? This presentation will share some of the challenges and opportunities faced by academia in strengthening its ability to improve the health of people and that of the planet.
