Small Group Weekly Meetings

  • The STAR Program provides speech-language therapy in a small group setting.
  • Meets once per week for 1 hour.
  • Targets communication skills and life participation.
  • Members discuss past and present experiences, current events, and common interests.
  • All ages welcome.
  • All levels of communication ability welcome.
  • Free for all participants.
  • Remote/Virtual option available.

Caregivers Network Weekly Meetings

  • The STAR Program provides speech-language therapy in a small group setting.
  • Provides a venue for caregivers to share.
  • Provides education about stroke and its side effects, including aphasia.
  • Provides information regarding Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).

Merged Meetings

Once a month, everyone in STAR comes together for a merged meeting. At merged meetings, members engage in socialization and view an entertainment performance or educational program.
