Our TTUHSC Campuses
Beginning in 1969 as the Texas Tech University School of Medicine, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is now a five-school university with campuses in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas/Fort Worth, Lubbock and the Permian Basin (Midland & Odessa). The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Abilene offers the latest in educational
opportunities that provide the real-world experience necessary to understand and meet
the challenges of the health care industry. With a small campus, convenient parking
and an on-campus coffee shop, our Abilene campus fosters community collaboration with
a friendly atmosphere.

With schools of Pharmacy, Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, and our Women's Health
Research Institute, the TTUHSC campus in Amarillo provides creative solutions to the
health care challenges of today and tomorrow. Through partnerships with teaching hospitals,
health care professionals and local communities, our Amarillo campus is working toward
solving the health care problems of West Texas and beyond.

The TTUHSC campus in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex offers postgraduate training
and experiences in diverse areas to prepare students for specialty practice and research
careers. Exposure to real-world experiences is emphasized so that our graduates may
better understand and meet the ever-evolving challenges of health professions.

Our academic programs rank among the top in the nation, and our faculty and students
are recognized for their accomplishments on regional, national and international levels.
At the Lubbock campus, you will find the School of Allied Health Sciences, School
of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy and the Graduate School of Biomedical
Sciences. Our medical practice teams, the Texas Tech Physicians, specialize in preventative
medicine, expert diagnosis and innovative treatment.

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is a nationally recognized leader in managed
health care services, providing health care services for 31 facilities in 18 cities
throughout West Texas. Our high standard of service is evidenced by the fact that
all State Correctional facilities that receive health care services from TTUHSC are
accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA). Not only are our team members
working in a safe, supportive environment, they are providing medical care and services
to patients with great need who often have never had access to these services before.

The TTUHSC campus at Permian Basin includes the School of Allied Health Sciences,
the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing and the Texas Tech Physicians medical
practice. In addition to academic and research activity, our clinicians provide exceptional
care in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Behavioral
Health, Surgery and Pediatrics.
