Molecular mechanisms of cellular plasticity in models of AUD
The Ponomarev Lab in the School of Medicine investigates the molecular mechanisms of cellular plasticity in models of alcohol use disorder (AUD). The lab’s research explores changes in gene expression, epigenetic regulation and brain molecular networks associated with alcohol exposure, dependence and related behaviors, with the goal of advancing understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying AUD.
