Microsoft will end support for the Windows 7 operating system, making it obsolete. To retain access to TTUHSC network resources, Windows 7 users should upgrade to Windows 10 befor this date.

NOTICE: Apple has released their new operating system, Big Sur. As several of our programs are currently optimized to work with prior operating systems but have not yet been tested on Big Sur, we ask that you refrain from updating until further notice. - (updated 1-28-2021)

Important Notes

  • Web camera (internal or external) & microphone for web conferencing and/or exams. (Please check with your program and review your course syllabus for specific software required for video proctoring of exams.)
  • USB to Ethernet adapter is required for laptops without a built-in Ethernet port. (Suggested Model)
  • Tablet devices can be used to access some course content but will not substitute the need for a laptop
  • All students are required to have broadband Internet access for online learning content. (Cable, DSL, etc...)
  • Dial-up and Mobile hot-spots provided by cellular providers are not recommended
  • Internet Explorer is not recommended. Mozilla FireFox and Google Chrome are stable alternatives
  • Headphones may be required for certain class assignments
