Program of Assistance for Students (PAS)

TTUHSC provides each student with up to eight free, confidential counseling sessions per year.

The TTUHSC Program of Assistance for Students (PAS) is a resource for students of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. We aim to promote health and wellness in your personal and your academic life.

TTUHSC provides each student with up to eight free, confidential counseling sessions per fiscal year (September – August).


Counseling is available for a variety of issues:

  • Depression
  • Excessive stress or anxiety
  • Healing from trauma
  • Family and relationship problems
  • Grief and loss
  • Alcohol and drug abuse

    The Counseling Center offices are located in the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, 3601 4th Street (facing 4th Street, between Indiana Ave and the Texas Tech Parkway). The waiting room is 1A300 (first floor, east wing of TTUHSC), just past the Psychiatry Clinic.
