About
The mission of the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is to support our Values-Based Culture and assist veterans and military families through programs, policies, and practices for achieving academic, personal, and professional success.
Sara Henly has been with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) since 2016, when she moved to Lubbock after serving 6 years in the U.S. Navy. Sara is now the Director of the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at TTUHSC. She continuously seeks professional development to remain current on issues relevant to veterans and their families, especially those in higher education. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management and Master of Education in Higher Education Administration. When she is not supporting student veterans and their families on campus, she works to support them in the community and also loves to spend time with her family. |
Clemmie is an Honorably Discharged/Retired 21 year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He has his Bachelor of the Arts in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University. He is also a Licensed Claims Adjuster in Texas and a trained Mediator. |
