The mission of the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is to support our Values-Based Culture and assist veterans and military families through programs, policies, and practices for achieving academic, personal, and professional success.
Sara Henly has been with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center since 2016,
when she moved to Lubbock after serving 6 years in the U.S. Navy. Sara is now the
Director of the Veterans Resource Center. She continuously seeks professional development
opportunities to remain current on issues relevant to veteran and military families,
especially those in higher education.
