What to Expect on Your First Visit

During your evaluation, the clinician will begin by discussing your medical history, and we encourage you to bring a family member or close friend who can help answer questions. A physical examination will follow, during which the clinician will assess your reflexes, muscle strength, sensation, and coordination. You will also complete memory testing as part of the visit. Throughout the appointment, the clinician will provide education about your condition, explain symptoms, and review treatment options. You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions, and the clinicians and staff will offer feedback and support. At the end of the evaluation, a personalized care plan will be created for you.
