Call for Abstracts for the GIA Healthy Aging and Dementia Research Symposium
Don't miss the chance to showcase your research at Healthy Aging and Dementia Research Symposium. The first annual, event will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, October 24-25, at the International Cultural Center, 601 Indiana Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79409. Deadline for submission of abstracts is Wednesday, Oct. 17. Both poster and oral sessions are open to all faculty members, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students who conduct research. Prominent community members and University leaders, including TTU System Chancellor, Dr. Mitchell, will be among the guests. This event gives you an opportunity to interact with representatives of advocacy groups and experts on healthy aging and dementia research that are interested in your line of work. Best Oral and Poster Awards will go to several postdocs and grad students, based on quality of research and presentation.
